Rosebud cabinetry is available in light, natural, glazed or highlighted finishes. These specialty finishes produce a truly beautiful effect, but one that is quite different from standard finishes on wood. We are committed to helping you fully understand these differences, because we want you to be a truly satisfied Rosebud customer.

Species: All woods naturally darken and mellow with age. Many factors including specie, finish and exposure to light effect this process. As a general rule, cherry will darken more than most other woods. Character cherry will have more knots and color variations than cherry. And hickory will exhibit wide variations in grain patters, markings and color. All of these natural processes add to the beauty that is wood.

Stains: Wood has natural variations in color, grain and markings such as pin holes and mineral streaks. Lighter stains make these variations more apparent. Natural finish (clear sealer and top coat) shows the most variation. Also note that the application of glaze will tint the base stain creating a unique appearance from a base stain alone.

Unfinished: Rosebud will produce unfinished pieces (no stain, sealer or topcoat). Our warranty, however, does not pertain to unfinished pieces.

Hand Application: Rosebud's specialty finishes are achieved by hand craftsmanship. Because of this, variation is to be expected, and is considered an attribute. This is true with glazing and highlights.

The undersigned has read and understands the information below. The undersigned further understands that as new products are introduced it is their responsibility to explain new characteristics to the customer. The undersigned agrees not to hold Rosebud Manufacturing Co., Inc. responsible if a customer has not been made fully aware of the unique characteristics and intrinsic variability of their specific order, if those characteristics and variations are within the standards set by Rosebud Manufacturing Co., Inc. The undersigned must be either an Officer or Principal of the dealership.
